No5 Chambers recently organised a charity bake-off as part of its fundraising programme in support of Birmingham Citizens’ Advice Bureau (CAB). Sixteen members of staff competed in the event, which raised £524.
Emma Cook, head of business development at Birmingham CAB, judged the cakes, pies and pastries. Pete Mottram was awarded ‘Best Looking’ for his Chocolate and Guinness Cake presented as a pint of Guinness, while ‘Most Popular’ went to Chicken Curry Patties baked by Thelma Cooper.
No5 Chambers has committed to raising the sum of £10,000 in the run-up to Birmingham CAB’s 75th anniversary via a combination of sponsorship and fundraising.
