Allen & Overy set to host debate and reception to celebrate book launch

On 3 April 2014, Allen & Overy will be holding a debate and evening reception to celebrate the launch of the book Gas Price Arbitrations edited by Mark Levy, a partner in the firm’s arbitration group.

The motion for the debate will be ‘This house believes that international arbitration is wholly unsuited for resolving gas price disputes’. The debate will be chaired by Prof Jonathan Stern of the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. Michael Polkinghorne (White & Case) and Levy will argue for the motion and Dr Wolfgang Peter (Python & Peter) and Marnix Leijten (De Brauw) will argue against.

Gas Price Arbitrations is a practical new handbook published by Globe Law and Business covering the various aspects of international gas pricing disputes.
