Eversheds has announced the appointment of Dani Kabbani as managing partner of the firm’s office in Qatar.
Kabbani is a corporate M&A partner and energy sector specialist who has been living and practising law in Qatar for 17 years. He previously practised with an international law firm in Doha and has worked in house for Qatar Petroleum and Doha Bank.
Kabbani has extensive experience of working with government bodies including sovereign wealth funds and financial institutions on a range of commercial and corporate matters including joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings.
He advises oil and gas and construction companies on project- and finance-related agreements and assists joint venture companies in their negotiations with both the public and private sector.
He replaces Chris Jobson, who retires from the partnership.
