Hogan Lovells advises EDF in relation to bond issue and hybrid financing programme

Hogan Lovells has assisted EDF in relation to its 100-year bond issue in pound sterling, which enabled EDF to raise £1.35bn. The law firm also advised EDF in relation to its hybrid bond issues in three tranches and in two currencies for a total amount of €2bn (£1.6bn) and £750m.

The bond issue is said to be the first of this maturity carried out in pound sterling.
