Sergio Barozzi is a founding partner and the managing partner of Lexellent — an Italian employment and labour law boutique with offices in Milan and Rome.
He has three decades of experience providing counsel to national and international businesses and executives on employment and labour law matters, both in and out of court, as well as advising on trade union negotiations, collective dismissals, transfers of business, human resource management issues and start-up operations. He also has a wealth of experience advising multinational organisations on cross-border projects.
Internationally, Barozzi has been recognised for his work in the field of Italian employment and labour law by leading legal research directories such as Chambers Europe, which has recognised him as Leading Individual, and The Legal 500, which has listed him among the Leading Lawyers in Italy for Employment Law.
He regularly collaborates with the Italian Association of Human Resource Managers (AIDP) and contributes articles to their journal, as well as writing articles on a diverse range of employment and labour law subjects for national newspapers.
Barozzi is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) and the Association of Italian Employment Lawyers (AGI) and sits on the Board of the Milan Bar Association. He is also a very active member of the firm’s international legal network ELLINT — Employment and Labour Lawyers International.
