Taylor Wessing has acted on behalf of Lord and Lady Tanlaw and their family trusts in relation to the sale of Fandstan Electric Group, a London-headquartered engineering group, to New York-listed Wabtec.
Fandstan designs, makes and installs electrical products for rail transportation and industrial uses. Subsidiaries of the company have been involved in a range of projects across the world, including London’s DLR, the Singapore MRT, the Dubai Metro and the Melbourne tram system.
Wabtec is a provider of value-added, technology-based products and services for the rail and transit industry.
