Niall Logan is a partner in our property team with more than 25 years’ experience of advising public and private sector clients in a wide range of real-estate transactions. His focus areas include advising on the regeneration and development of brownfield land, such as former colliery sites.
He advises on complex development agreements and conditional contracts for proposed industrial, commercial and residential developments. He also advises on sales and purchases of investment properties such as offices. Logan also acts for clients who invest in the primary health sector.
Logan is an expert in the property aspects of mining and quarrying, including advising on the ownership of minerals and rights to extract, and acting on options, conditional contracts and leases relating to mineral extraction and subsequent landfill uses.
He has featured in the legal directories for many years. He was included in Legal Experts 2008 in both commercial property and energy and natural resources. In Legal 500 2008 he was referred to as ‘widely rated’ in commercial property. Chambers 2010 referred to Logan ‘winning acclaim for his commitment and pragmatic approach’ in the mining and minerals section, and, in the real-estate section, he was stated to be ‘skilled in the public and private sectors’ and referred to as ‘efficient’ with ‘a good understanding of our requirements and objectives’.
