The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is set to introduce measures to reduce the list of sensitive names that new businesses and charities must get approval for prior to incorporation at Companies House.
There are currently more than 150 words and expressions on the sensitive list, which means prior approval is required from either Companies House, the Charity Commission or another specified body.
The names being removed from the list include words such as ‘human rights’, ‘authority’, ‘board’, ‘European’, ‘national’, ‘group’ and ‘international’…
