No5’s Adrian Keeling QC defends in Operation Elveden phone-hacking case

No5 Chambers’ Adrian Keeling has defended Anthony France, 41, from Watford, who is facing charges of conspiracy to commit misconduct in public office.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Elveden, an investigation into allegations of corrupt payments to public officials, arrested him last year and he will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 21 August.

Operation Elveden is being run alongside Operation Weeting, an investigation into alleged phone hacking, and Operation Tuleta, an investigation into claims of computer hacking and other privacy breaches.
