Allen & Overy maintains top position in H1 capital markets league tables

In the H1 2014 league tables, Allen & Overy has ranking as the leading adviser in global debt, equity and equity-related capital markets, advising issuers and managers on 462 deals worth $346bn (£206bn). This is 127 deals and more than $84bn ahead of its nearest competitor, according to data from Thomson Reuters.

The Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and Dealogic capital markets tables all serve to underline the extent to which Allen & Overy continues to lead the market, topping the tables in the most categories, including:

  • Ranked first for issuers and managers on global straight debt transactions including ABS and MBS, with 432 deals worth $331.6bn (Thomson Reuters)
  • Ranked first for issuers and managers on all international bonds, with 413 deals worth $321.2bn (Thomson Reuters)
  • Ranked first for issuers and managers on all international securitisations (EMEA), with 21 deals worth $12.2bn (Thomson Reuters)
  • Ranked first for issuers on convertible bonds, with six deals worth $2.3bn (Thomson Reuters)
  • Ranked first for issuers and managers on Euromarket bonds, with 534 deals worth $324.3bn (Bloomberg)
  • Ranked first for issuers on Islamic bonds, with four deals worth $2.3bn (Bloomberg)
  • Ranked first for dealers and issuers on EMTN programmes, with 16 programmes signed (Dealogic)
