On 29 July 2013, a number of major changes to employment law came into force. Here, Addleshaw Goddard rounds up the five key changes that you need to know about.

The Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013 introduced a new set of procedural rules to the employment tribunal system. In addition, new ET1 and ET3 forms and a Presidential Practice Direction on the presentation of tribunal claims in England and Wales have all been published.

In addition to the main employment tribunal rules, the Employment Appeal Tribunal (Amendment) Rules) 2013 also implemented four changes to Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) procedure, which are designed to give the EAT greater flexibility in managing unmeritorious appeals…
