Mills & Reeve advises Key Capital Partners on educational caterer investment

Mills & Reeve has advised private equity house Key Capital Partners on its investment in educational caterer Alliance in Partnership (AIP).

The private equity firm provided the management buyout team with funds to buy the specialist education caterer, which operates more than 170 catering contracts with state and independent infant, primary, secondary and specialist schools across the country. Senior debt facilities were provided by Yorkshire Bank.

Peter McLintock and Ryan Hawley from Mills & Reeve’s corporate team led the deal. The team also included Hayley Simonds from the corporate team, as well as specialist lawyers William Roles, Chris Townsend, Duncan Astill, Anna Youngs, Alex Kenworthy, Nicola Savery, Paul Knight, Sally Challinor and Philip Hutchinson.
