King & Wood Mallesons has made up 26 new partners across its network since last July, including nine latest promotions in Europe and the Middle East.
Among the 26 newly promoted partners, 10 are in China, seven in Australia and nine across Europe and the Middle East. The promotions in Australia and China were first announced last year and have come into effect with different dates.
The nine new partner promotions in the legacy SJ Berwin network will take effect on 1 May 2014.
Corporate, dispute resolution and real estate practice groups saw the largest number of lawyers elected to partnership, with seven, four and three promotions respectively. Other areas of promotions include banking and finance, tax, international trade, securities, intellectual property, competition and regulatory.
Women make up 35 per cent of the total number.
