You may scoff

On the subject of food-based treats, if Clifford Chance thinks it has finally stamped out lawyers taking liberties with its catering budget, it has another thing coming.
Tulkinghorn understands that certain advisers visiting Clifford Chance's office in connection with the Marconi restructuring came over all funny at the breadth of the firm's in-house menu. And because many of the meetings began early in the morning, when the front desk was unmanned, the rascals had a field day ordering everything under the sun from the firm's magical kitchen. “You could order absolutely anything you want and it would just appear,” panted one overexcited lawyer.
What the firm's management will think of all this is not yet clear, although maybe it serves them right for being so darn tight-fisted with its own lawyers in the first place.
