Pink was the colour of the day at Teacher Stern Selby’s party in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer the other week.

The firm’s seven female partners, ably aided by assistants and secretaries, donned pink blouses to host the event, which saw 11 Stone Buildings decked out in balloons and flowers, and a room devoted to make-up.

Tulkinghorn was excluded from the gathering due to being of the male persuasion, but sent along a couple of female colleagues to mingle with Teachers and friends.

They reported back with the news that Teachers’ male partners were a bit miffed at not being allowed to attend, until it was gently explained to them that the party was all about raising money for breast cancer and did not involve strippers, drinking games or anything even remotely risqué.
