Addleshaws raids Hammonds for litigation hire

Hammonds has lost a litigation partner in Manchester to Addleshaw Goddard. Michael Isaacs joins Addleshaws later this month after nine years at Hammonds, including five as a salaried partner. Isaacs specialises in banking and financial litigation and is also a trained mediator. As a salaried partner, he is not affected by Hammonds’ lock-in of equity partners, which lasts until June this year. Addleshaws litigation head Simon Twigden said the appointment complemented the firm’s existing contentious practice.
