Case of the week

The Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) has been accused of sexism after letting former training manager Judy Owen (pictured) know who wears the trousers in the office. Owen, who was ordered to change into a skirt after arriving for her first day at work in trousers, is taking the PGA to an employment tribunal alleging sex discrimination. Bizarrely, a group of female PGA workers are hanging around outside the hearing in skirts to support their employer, which has never faced a sex discrimination claim before. Meanwhile, another skirts dispute is brewing – two female security guards at Eurostar are considering legal action against their employer after being banned from wearing trousers.
