Anyone for tennis?

Anyone for tennis?Do not adjust your glasses. It’s just a small lawyer holding an enormous racket.

These people, all from West Country law firm Stephens Scown, are taking part in Cornwall’s inaugural Corporate Games in Newquay later this month.

The firm is fielding a crack team of 44 toned athletes, not for charity but for glory.

The Corporate Games might sound like a contradiction in terms but the Scown frown will be dealt out to all who question its greatness.

Jody Pender, conveyancing executive in Stephens Scown’s Truro property team, who has been helping to organise the firm’s involvement in the games, said: “We’ve got teams drawn from every level of the firm taking part in tennis, squash, running, touch rugby, rounders, netball and golf, so it’s going to be a great weekend.”

Sure, just watch out for the tennis balls, Jody. If this photo’s anything to go by, they’ll be large enough to kill.
