De Pardieu signs up new public law head from rival

Paris firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei is expanding its public law practice with the hire of Vatier & Associé’s public law head.

Joining as head of De Pardieu’s public law and public-private partnerships department, Yves-René Guillou becomes the firm’s seventh lawyer in this area. De Pardieu now has 14 partners.

Guillou’s clients includes the likes of ING as well as French state and public authorites such as the City of Paris. His experience covers public-private partnership contracts, public procurement contracts, urban development and advice on institutional relations.

Public law is a developing area in France. Name partner Charles-Henri de Pardieu said that the firm has strengthened the practice in response to client demand.
