Halliwell Landau has set up a network of top-flight European firms it will refer cross-border work to.
The network, which includes the largest firm in Holland Nauta Dutilh, is non-exclusive and includes firms with which Halliwells shares corporate clients.
As well as Nauta, the firm has decided to work with top Swedish practice Vinge, Paris firm PDGB and US outfit Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann, which has offices in New York, San Diego and New Orleans.
Nauta is also a member of the 40-strong Association of European Lawyers, another non-exclusive referral association, which counts Charles Russell as its UK member.
Partner Nigel Brown has built up the network, alongside fellow corporate partner James Sheridan.
A Halliwells spokesperson said: “We’ve worked hard at building up our strategic alliances in Europe over the past 12 months and are now at a point where we have a list of top firms everyone at Halliwells will refer work to from our increasingly diverse corporate client base.”
