In brief: First Legal Practice MBA graduates

The first ever students to complete an MBA in Legal Practice have graduated from the Nottingham Law School at Nottingham Trent University. The 33 students on the course gained a Masters degree designed exclusively for those with management responsibility in law firms, legal departments and barristers' chambers. Students included senior partners, managing partners, senior administrators and in-house lawyers. One student, Ann Alexander, senior partner at Altrincham-based medical negligence specialists Alexander Harris, said: “I am always on the look-out for new techniques to help improve the success of my firm. This MBA has proved very useful.”
