SJ Berwin is on track to bolster its turnover for the third year running, after reporting a 19 per cent increase in gross revenue at the half-year mark.
The double-digit increase in revenue follows last financial year’s 23 per cent increase in total turnover and cements the firm’s return to grace after a disappointing 5 per cent drop in turnover in 2002/03.
Senior partner David Harrell confirmed that turnover was up 19 per cent to an estimated £58m compared to £49m this time last year. He said this left the firm on track to meet its budget of a 15 per cent increase in turnover to £140m for the 2005/06 financial year.
Harrell said growth had been seen across all of the firm’s practice groups and offices internationally, although the corporate group had enjoyed a very successful first six months.
