Norton Rose has rehired a former assistant as a partner to help build its Greek law practice. Vassilis Koroxenidis, who worked at Norton Rose between 1997 and 1999 as an assistant before forming his own firm, joins existing partner Dimitri Sofianopoulos in the Piraeus office. He will be responsible for helping to develop Norton Rose’s burgeoning Greek law department, especially in the banking and finance areas. Koroxenidis is dual-qualified in Greece and the US, and his expertise includes acting on corporate bank loans and project financing. His client list includes US technology company Lockheed Martin, as well as the developers of the Attiki Odos motorway in Greece and several banks.
