Astonishing news. More Hammonds partners have quit. That’s 13 this year and counting…

Two Hammonds partners, Jose Rivas and Edward Borivikov, resigned today (see story). This was the second time they’ve done so in as many months after management failed in its attempts to keep them.

Another partner with a yen for moving is IT and outsourcing lawyer Jonathan Little, who has quit Simmons after just 18 months there.

Little has shifted around a bit in his career: from Bird & Bird to Bakers, and then on to Linklaters. He looked to finally have found his niche at Kemp & Co, where they got on so well they renamed the firm Kemp Little. But no. Off he went to Simmons.

Little has managed to retain key client EDS through half of these moves and will hope that the relationship will be bolstered by teaming with Jones Day, which does a lot for the company in the US. Perhaps now Little will have found a partnership made in heaven.
