Atlanta-based firm Morris Manning & Martin is strengthening its IT capability by appointing two new technology partners.
James Butler is joining from the new technologies practice group at Arnall Golden & Gregory. He has counselled fast-growth internet start-ups and advised companies on e-commerce, privacy, network security and First Amendment issues.
Tim Reis, who was previously at King & Spalding, has more than 18 years of experience in technology law and in patent, copyright, trademark and trade secrets assets.
Managing partner Bob Saudek says the hires are part of the firm’s expansion plans to meet its technology clients’ needs.
“Morris Manning & Martin is the most active and influential technology and internet law firm in the [US] south east,” says Butler.
