Pannone & Partners has hired Weightmans‘ former head of planning and environment John Holmes. Holmes left Weightmans in March along with two other members of the firm’s Manchester corporate team following the firm’s decision to restructure its corporate and commercial strategy. He joins Pannones along with a batch of other new hires and partner promotions. Additional new partners include Rob Fawke, previously an assistant at Halliwells, John Gollaglee, an associate in business crime at DLA Piper, and Emma Judge, a construction associate from Addleshaw Goddard. UK counsels’ salaries fall short of Euro rates
UK general counsel salaries are slipping behind their counterparts’ in Ger-many and the Netherlands.
