Hammonds has recruited two intellectual property partners and three assistants from the London office of McDermott Will & Emery.
The firm has lifted Philip Rees and trademark specialist Kathleen Harris
from the London team headed up by Larry Cohen. In a bizarre twist, Cohen was head of IP at Hammonds before leaving for McDermotts in early 2000.
