Ivan Lendl, former world tennis champion, is heading for a High Court legal showdown in London with leading gossip columnist Nigel Dempster. Lendl has launched libel proceedings against Dempster and Associated Newspapers over an article in Dempster's Daily Mail column on 28 July, which was headed "Lendl sets off without his love". Lendl is represented by Nabarro Nathanson.
