Lane joined Fox Williams last month (August) as its head of tax. He was previously head of tax at Masons before the 2004 merger with Pinsents.
Lane told The Lawyer: “The attraction here is that it’s a greenfield site, and there’s a chance to build something up. In a way it’s akin to going back when I moved to Masons.”
His expertise includes advising on cross-border transactions and outsourcing deals, and clients include the Bank of Ireland, the NSPCC and Dictaphone among others.
Fox Williams senior partner Tina Williams said the hire would be a “great boost” to the firm’s tax offering.
