Choosing killers over billers

It was over to Watson Farley & Williams‘ swanky 25th anniversary party the other day, at which shipping finance lawyer Anna Soroko amused the crowd with a tale of her introduction to cabinet minister Jack Straw.

Soroko recalled visiting the House of Commons with a colleague who had family connections in Parliament.

Disappointed with the rude behaviour when Straw did not introduce himself appropriately, Soroko said: “If I was Robert Mugabe, he would have shaken my hand.”
