Richard Barnett, senior partner of Southport conveyancing firm Barnetts, has been appointed as a director on the board of Pisces (property information systems common exchange standard). He is already chairman of Pisces’ lenders’ conveyancing workgroup. Pisces is an electronic data exchange standard designed for the UK property market that aims to ease information transfers between software packages.
Litigation specialist Anthony Julius of Mishcon de Reya will be the next chair of the London Consortium, which is now entering its tenth year. The London Consortium is a collaboration between the Architectural Association, Birkbeck College (University of London), the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Tate.
