Weil Gotshal & Manges is relocating its second New York heavyweight to its European operations in as many months, this time to London.
Jeremy Dickens, the highly rated global co-head of Weil Gotshal’s capital markets practice group, will move to the firm’s London office in early June and is expected to stay for a two-year period.
His relocation comes just after Carl Lobell, a senior trade and regulatory New York partner, took up residence in Weil Gotshal’s Paris office.
Within capital markets, Dickens’ expertise spans a number of different areas, including high-yield, initial public offerings, M&A, private equity and acquisition finance. It is hoped Dickens will build on the London office’s institutional relationships using his strong links with organisations such as Lehman Brothers.
Lobell moved to Weil Gotshal’s Paris office in May and is expected to stay for between two and three years.
