South East firm IBB Solicitors has secured Dolce & Gabbana as a new client, advising the designer Italian fashion house on a lease agreement for new showroom premises in London.
IBB real estate partner David Silva led the firm’s team advising on the deal for the premises at 18 Hanover Square, London.
It is understood that IBB secured the mandate following a referral from Nick Ware, a director at Union Land & Property – Dolce & Gabbana’s key UK real estate advisers.
Silva previously worked with Ware at law firm Frere Cholmeley Bischoff, which merged with Eversheds in 1998.
Silva said: “This is our first acquisition for Dolce & Gabbana. We have also been retained by the company for future work which, as it is looking to expand in London, is very good news.”
Hammerson was advised by Herbert Smith associate Emma Glassberg.
