Greengrocer’s assistant with John Briggs & Sons.
What was your worst experience as a trainee?
Getting lost in the Bear Garden, being late for the master and explaining to my principal why I didn’t come back with what he told me to get.

Reception, post room and trainees, in that order.

Spend as much time outdoors as I can.

One of the country’s finest classical actors.

My old principal, who gave me a set of values about our profession that I still try to live by.

Following my heart and not my head when making business decisions, but realising that sometimes it’s not a bad thing to do.
