Jonathan Scott is charged with boosting with the firm's non contentious financial services work.
His appointment comes at a time of intense M&A activity in the financial services sector and as the scope of regulated activity in the City is set to broaden with the introduction of the Financial Services and Markets bill.
Scott acts mainly for financial institutions on a wide range of domestic and international issues arising in the financial services, banking and insurance sector.
