Today (30 October) sees the publication of The Lawyer Global 100 2006, the definitive list of the world’s largest law firms based on revenue.
As always, the book, which is produced in association with The American Lawyer, details the financial fortunes of the world’s leading firms. And as has already been revealed (The Lawyer, 2 October), it has been a record year for UK firms.
In particular the tables reveal that Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has succeeded in becoming the world’s most profitable firm – news that will come as a surprise to most people.
