Lovells has advised on the ParalympicsGB on the intellectual property issues on its new TV advertising campaign featuring Sir Paul McCartney.
The Lovells team, which acted pro bono, was led by corporate partner Richard Welfare, alongside another IP partner and corporate associate Gulley Shimeld.
Shimeld said: “It’s always fun working with ParalympicsGB because they get involved in working in such exciting projects and the stakeholders in the project are always so enthusiastic in trying out new things with the organisation.”
Welfare, Shimeld and a number of lawyers from Lovells’ Hong Kong and China offices will be attending the Paralympic Games in Beijing to provide on-site advice to ParalympicsGB and athletes.
The advertisement will be shown for the first time tonight (Wednesday, 2 July) at 8:50pm on Channel 4.
