CC raids Camerons for Moscow growth

Clifford Chance has scooped two of CMS Cameron McKenna’s high-ranking partners for its Moscow office. Camerons’ Central and Eastern Europe energy and projects coordinator David Griston and Moscow head of banking and international finance Jared Grubb are both moving to the magic circle firm. Griston will be a corporate partner at Clifford Chance, while Grubb will join as a finance partner. Griston was formerly managing partner of Camerons’ Moscow office before David Cranfield took over the reins. He was also briefly with Allen & Overy before rejoining Camerons as a partner. Grubb had been at Camerons for two years after joining from Australian firm Clayton Utz. The moves come as the magic circle firm seeks to double the contribution its seven-partner Moscow office makes to corporate turnover.
