Addleshaws in talks over single-site move

Addleshaw Goddard is expected to move into new offices at Milton Gate in the City as early as next year so the firm can expand its capability in the capital.

Addleshaws is in discussions with the building’s owner UBS to lease the entire 200,000sq ft building, although a deal has yet to be finalised.

The firm declined to comment on the negotiations, but a spokesperson reiterated that it had “always been [the firm’s] ambition to be under one roof in London in 2009”.

The firm’s London offering of 540 staff are split between the property and banking groups in Noble Street and the remaining practice groups in the larger Aldersgate Street offices.

The new offices are located close to Moorgate and underwent an extensive refit, completed in September 2007.
