Putney-based Russell-Cooke has appointed former managing partner John Gould and partner Nigel Coates as the firm’s new senior partner and managing partner respectively.
The firm will also undergo further changes to the management structure in order to streamline the decision making. This will include the creation of a management group and board.
Outgoing senior partner, Micheal Maskey, held the role since 1987 but decided not to run for re-election. He will, however, stay with the 190 lawyer firm as the most senior commercial property partners.
Gould has been with Russell-Cooke for 25 years and founded the firm’s commercial department. He now heads the commercial litigation department.
Coates joined the firm as a partner and head of domestic conveyancing in 1987.
