Linklaters overhauls international board

Linklaters has revamped its its senior governance body by adding two new members to its international board.

Marc Harvey and Michael Kent have been elected to the board as Asia and London corporate representatives respectively with effect from 1 May 2006. They replace Michael Cutting and Tony Grundy who step down after one term.

Robert Elliott (London finance & projects) and Alan Walls (London commercial) have been re-elected to the board after completing one term.

Linklaters international board is responsible for making or recommending partners, strategic and other major decisions. The firm’s management is also accountable to the board.

The board comprises senior partner Anthony Cann and firmwide managing partner Tony Angel and 14 members who are elected by the partnership.

The other members of the International Board are Michael Bennett (London commercial), Csaba Berecz (CEE), François de Bauw (Belgium and Luxembourg), Gilles Endreo (France), Marty Flics (Americas), Fiona Hobbs (London finance & projects), Michael Lappe (Germany), Jeremy Parr (London corporate), Uli Wolff (Germany) and Ingvar Zander (Sweden).
