Berrymans Lace Mawer is to launch in Wales with the opening of a Cardiff office to broaden its presence in South Wales and Bristol.
The office, which will open on 1 November, will be headed by Matthew Harrington who joins from Cartwright Black Cardiff where he headed the personal injury team.
The office will initially focus on insurance-related work, particularly occupational disease, employers’ liability, public liability, road traffic accidents and catastrophic injury.
Berrymans national senior partner Terry Renouf said its Cardiff office would fill a gap in the firm’s geographical spread.
Berrymans currently operates from seven sites including: Liverpool, London, and Manchester.
