Maclays takes Lewis Silkin partner for IP push

Maclay Murray & Spens has taken on Lewis Silkin partner Gillian Cordall for a push into London’s IP market.

Cordall specialises in non-contentious IP work and was a partner in Lewis Silkin’s media brands & technology department since 1999. Cordall’s core clients include interactive media and computer game companies.

She will work with IP partner Fiona Nicolson to boost Maclay’s push into London. Earlier this month, the firm absorbed Leale-Green Limited, a financial services compliance consultancy based in the City.

Chief executive Magnus Swanson said: “This appointment is another example of the firm reinforcing its presence in the City through the recruitment and development of highly-regarded specialist lawyers.”
