Stephenson Harwood loses partner to Bircham Dyson Bell

Bircham Dyson Bell is cashing in on the stream of departures from Stephenson Harwood by boosting its real estate finance practice with a new hire.

Imelda Moffat joins the firm with experience of working for key clients National Westminster Bank and Bank of Ireland and has a particular specialism in insolvency led real estate issues and the financing of development projects.

Moffat joined Sinclair Roche & Temperly in 1998 and was made a partner in 2000 before the firm merged with Stephenson Harwood in 2002.

She is one of more than 20 partners that have left the firm since the tie-up.
