The Lawyer‘s groundbreaking survey by YouGov revealed that 54 per cent of women surveyed believe that associate retention is one of the most important issues facing the profession.

And the way to retain them? Women, far more than their male colleagues, overwhelmingly favoured alternative career paths and flexible working. See story.

The Exemplar Employer scheme requires organisations to give a clear commitment to reducing the gender pay gap by piloting projects such as supporting mothers returning to work and creating better quality opportunities for staff working part-time.
