Schillings fills Cruddace’s vacant partner post

Schillings lawyer Rod Christie-Miller has joined the partnership following the departure of Martin Cruddace to head the legal function at online betting company Betfair this month. Christie-Miller will take over the bulk of Cruddace’s clients, although partner Rachel Atkins will act for ex-Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan in his estimated £1m employment claim against the paper. Cruddace replaces David Williams, who has left the UK to help establish Betfair in Australia.
