In brief: Quality standards boost LawNet profits

National law firm group LawNet says the six months since the introduction of its own quality standard has shown a “substantial improvement in profitability over the same period in the preceding years”. It says the period for December 1994 through to May this year showed a gross income increase of 4.74 per cent on the same period last year. Overheads increased by 1.03 per cent and profits rose by 18.81 per cent. LawNet president Simon Maddox said: “The figures speak for themselves.”
