A NEW chambers has opened in Bristol headed by a former City solicitor who believes the regions are crying out for more specialist barristers

The set, in Bristol's legal district, will operate as an annexe to the Exeter-based Castle Chambers and will be permanently staffed by its founder Andrew Marsden.

“The ethos of the set is that it will be able to provide practices with the services of specialist barristers rather than jacks of all trades,” he said. “I feel that this is the way forward for the Bar.”

Marsden, who used to work for Freshfields, specialises in tax, corporate and commercial litigation.

The chambers also boasts experts specialising in Chancery, matrimonial, planning, insurance and intellectual property law.
