Bristows has retained 100 per cent of its trainees this year, with all eight young lawyers accepting jobs at the IP firm.
The trainees, currently in their second year of training, will join the firm as fully-fledged solicitors in September this year. They will qualify into a range of practice areas including patent litigation, IT, dispute resolution and privacy and data protection.
Pat Treacy, joint managing partner at Bristows said: “The newly qualified solicitors will be joining some of our busiest practices so they will be given plenty of work and responsibility from their very first days as qualified solicitors. I am sure that they will prove to be assets to our business.”
Bristows brought on six trainee solicitors last year. Five trainees will start at the firm in September 2008 and eight in 2009.
