Bristol headquartered firm Burges Salmon has named Chris Jackson as successor to Guy Stobart as managing partner of the firm.
Jackson, a commercial disputes partner, will take over from Stobart in May. Stobart, who has been managing partner since 1995, said he was “assessing his options”.
“All good things must come to an end. We have had some amazing things but now the future is different for me,” he told the TheLawyer.com.
The firm said Jackson would retain a client-facing role with key clients, but that his overall aim was “evolutionary growth” of Burges Salmon.
